Leon Tovar Gallery launched a new concept in the iconic Atrio building in Bogotá, Colombia. The ephemeral project presents pioneering Latin American works in the new architectural icon of the Bogotá skyline and the tallest buildings in Colombia: the award-winning Atrio Towers, designed by Sir Richard Rogers and Giancarlo Mazzanti. Along with the opening of the public exhibition of Jaime Miranda-Bambarén’s “Semillas” or (“Seeds”) – hand-carved spheres made from recovered Peruvian eucalyptus roots – on the Atrio terraces, we are also debuting a new space. LT PROJECTS proposes an ephemeral extension of our New York program where established and emerging Latin American artists will be showcased side by side in Leon Tovar’s hometown of Bogotá.
