Inaugural Nasher Prize
Bogotá-based artist Doris Salcedo is the inaugural winner of the Nasher Prize, a newly founded, $100,000 international award for sculpture launched by the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, Texas. Salcedo is the subject of a retrospective currently on view at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
